ROOM 3 CAMP, MARAHAU
Camp was awesome! We kayaked, abseiled, cycled, walked in the rain, swam in the sun (including Matua Scott), swam in the rain, made damper, played spotlight and capture the flag (kid's version) and ate very well indeed. The weather proved to be far better than the forecast. All the parents who helped were superb, and so were the kids!! Great memories.
A big thankyou to all the parents who provided transport; to those parents who came and helped for the day; to Ray for the boat; to Josh for the fish; to Hayley, Paul, Jacqui, Karla and Phillipa who stayed one or two nights; to Chris 'the veteran' who stayed the whole time and Cherie 'camp mother' who organised and bought the food and cooked almost everything!
